What is Matritellurven all about then?

What is Matritellurven all about? Basically we are an Earth Church. My husband has become a Reverend after much soul searching and has created Matritellurven to be a refuge for people with similar interests and beliefs as us.

Perhaps your first instinct is to flee from us as soon as humanly possible. Before you do, how's about checking out our online community first? You may well find we are not what you expect, indeed we are mostly about friendship, support, spirituality and general chitter chatter.

Here is the introduction that my husband has made on our community, I've posted it here in the hope that it might enlighten you a little more;

Welcome to one and all

I am Rev.Kirk.Fitzgerald, I am an ordained minister of the Universal Life Church Monastery, I am 40 years of age and happily married to my wonderful wife Leander, we have a very special 3 1/2 year old daughter named Sahfyre. We live in a small English village and spend a great deal of our time marvelling at the wonders and splendours of our Great Mother Earth.

Which brings me nicely on to the next bit, what is Earth Church?


This has been a long time coming, I have thought on this for a very long time, I have had to search my soul long and hard, I have had to ask myself some extremely deep intrusive questions, my final decision to be ordained by the Universal Life Church Monastery did not come easy.

The Earth Church is a serious movement, we are a spiritual church but not in any biblical sense, our path is to follow the ways of the Earth as our ancestors before us once did. Our main focus will be on our members emotional and psychological well being, there will be some strict methodologies here, there will be some beliefs here which some will find hard to come to terms with. We exult in the majesty and the awe inspiring wonder of our own Planets spirit, The Great Mother, the specifics of our private religion are being sifted through slowly from the scape.

I welcome you to have a wander around our humble on-line church, we welcome all newcomers so please do not fear getting involved, no one will ever treat you badly here, this will be contrary to our fundamental belief systems.
